Appointment of Laurent Turpault
to the position of VP Communications & Public Affairs
Laurent Turpault joined AccorInvest on 2 May 2022 as VP Communications and Public Affairs. This new position is in line with the Group’s transformation strategy.
His primary mission will be to enhance AccorInvest’s reputation and image among its business partners, the public sector and its employees in the 27 countries in which it operates. This dialogue will provide a better understanding of AccorInvest’s unique business model as both a hotel owner and operator, its employer brand and its growth ambitions.

Laurent graduated from ISC Paris, and will soon complete an EMBA at HEC. He began his career in marketing at Crédit Agricole before moving into the consumer goods sector.
He spent 10 years at Heineken France, where he first built the digital and CRM(1) strategy for the brands and the category. Next, he founded the company’s Communications and CSR department(2), establishing Heineken France in the media and the public eye as the leader in its industry, committed to responsible drinking.
He then joined Bacardi-Martini as External Affairs Director for Southern Europe, in charge with promoting the company and its brands to influencers and protecting the group’s operating environments in these markets.
After that, he headed communications, public affairs and CSR for Coca-Cola France. There, he grew the brand’s reputation, notably through strategic partnerships and the celebration of its 100 years of operations in France and Europe. He also contributed to the diversification of its portfolio and its entry into new categories. He also enabled the company to play a key role with coalitions and opinion leaders on critical social issues such as inclusion, nutrition and plastic recycling.
In March 2021, Laurent began an Executive MBA at HEC, with a special focus on digital transformation. In the meantime, he left Coca-Cola and began a communications consultancy role with AccorInvest. In May 2022, he joined the company to head up its communications and public affairs work.
