As part of the European Disability Employment Week on November 15-21 and the International Day of Disabled Persons on December 3, our partner Accor have set a sports fixture starting November 9, for a shared sporting challenge.
For Accor and AccorInvest, Diversity & Inclusion means welcoming everyone and respecting differences by focusing only on skill sets. Both continue to uphold their commitment to equal opportunities and continually strengthens its efforts, particularly during the health crisis, to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities. This ever-increasing commitment is part of our open approach to promoting professional equality and preventing discrimination in all our locations.
One month, to the day, before the 2021 International Day of Disabled Persons, the Accor Diversity & Inclusion team has launched an inter-regional hub challenge: All Abilities, with key financial support for one or two local associations working for the disabled per Hub (16 associations in all will be rewarded).
What is the All Abilities Challenge all about?
Between November 9 and 30, AccorInvest & Accor teams are encouraged to collectively take action to support the commitment of local teams and associations in favor of disabled persons!
Each week, collaborators will have the opportunity to discover the challenges, such as the number of steps to take, or the photos or videos to film alone or as part of a team as well as quizzes and videos to test their knowledge and win extra points.
Their active participation will enable respective region to win an overall donation of as much as €4,000 excluding tax (i.e., up to €2,000 per association)..
